
“A present help in time of trouble” Ps 46:1


Martha's House is a trasformational house for women re-entering society from prison or jail. Martha's House has been founded on Jesus Christ and is served by those that share in the cause of Christ to provide unique opportunites for women re-entering society after confinement in prison. Martha's House exists to foster TRANSFORMATION in the lives of women through the life giving work and word of Christ. The House is a place of peace where women are invited to grow in relationship with God in His Word, prayer and fellowship with those who have placed their trust in Jesus. As women gain confidence in who they are in Christ, Martha's House then provides opportunities for job skill training and other courses to aid with trasition back into society.
How does the minisitry of Martha's House work?
Martha's House consideres its residents precious and chosen. The ministry will provide basic needs such as clothing, food and shelter but will also focus on spiritual growth, community service and ministry opportunities. A personal mentor will be assigned to listen to and encourage each resident throughout their time at Martha's House. A weekly schedule includes personal discipleship, Bible study, worship and specific courses designed to develop healthy life and career skills
In preparation for expanding the minisitry, here are a list of Martha's House current needs.

DVD and CD player, Converter for analog TVs
2 Hair Dryers and 2 Curling Irons
Microwave oven, Hand mixer, Toaster oven Pots, Pans and Glassware
Serving bowls, 4 plates, utensils, 4 coffee cups, 6 Ice cube trays
Small kitchen trash can
Camera to be used by the entire minsitry
Clothing Detergent, Dishwashing liquid (hand)
Monthly bus passes
A Van to provide transportation for those participating in the minsitry

Potential applicant is interviewed (optional only-Review Team discretion)
Decision is communicated to the Director of Martha's House
Letter of decision (accepted or denied) sent to the applicant

The application contains the house procedures and commitment requirements.

On September 4th, during Cornerstone Baptist Church 11:00 service a resident of Martha's House was celebrated. She completed a commitment to be discipled for a year.
The Celebration continued at the Open House held at Martha's House located in Cornerstone Care Center in a come and go setting.
